China’s industrial profits for the first two months of this year declined 4.2% year-on-year to CNY 745.24 billion (US$ 121.5 billion), in which, profits of main textile businesses surged 6.4%.
During the first two months of 2015, 30 of the 41 sectors surveyed reported year-on-year profit increases, with profit of textile sector surging 8.8% year-on-year, that of chemical raw materials and products rising 1.1%.

Exports of textile and clothing witnessed a negative growth of 16.23 per cent to $1.033 billion in March 2015 from $1.233bn in the same month last year, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics data showed on Monday.
The fall was witnessed for the second consecutive month, after posting a positive growth of 10.23pc in January 2015.
During the first nine months (July-March) of 2014-15, the exports of textile and clothing also witnessed a negative growth of 1.57pc.

In order to better serve local clients, China-based denim fabric manufacturer Prosperity Textile will set up warehouse in Turkey.

As per projections of the Australian Wool Production Forecasting Committee (AWPFC), shorn wool production is estimated at 341 million kilograms for 2014-15, flat from the 2013-14 season.
“This reflects a small drop in shorn sheep numbers offset by higher average fleece weights,” Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWIL) said in a press release.
In case of greasy wool, the production forecast for the 2014/15 season is 341 million kilograms, again the same as the 2013/14 season estimate.
