Among the exported products in China 10 years ago, the proportion of the self-owned brands was less than 10 percent and products like clothes were exported without brands or with foreign brands.
Due to lack of self-owned brands in the oversea market, most Chinese enterprises just could make a small profit. With unremitting efforts for 10 years, such a situation is changing historically.

Following the Cabinet’s move to increase the nation-wide daily minimum wage to Bt 300 from January 1, 2013, the Thailand Government has stepped forward to help the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including textile and garment businesses, to cope with the sharp rise in the production costs.

The Laos clothing manufacturing industry is planning a major publicity campaign to attract more employees, aiming to double its workforce to 60,000 by 2015.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. put some distance Monday between it and the clothing factory in Bangladesh that caught fire over the weekend, killing more than 100 people.
The factory in question was no longer authorized to produce merchandise for Wal-Mart, the company said.
"A supplier subcontracted work to this factory without authorization and in direct violation of our policies. Today, we have terminated the relationship with that supplier," Wal-Mart said.
