Willy Vanderperre links up with Prada once again for the brand’s spring-summer 2017 campaign. Instead of exploring one theme, the Italian label highlights five different visual identities. The advertisements combines these “realities”–Pathways, Frontiers, Stations, Exits and Terrains under one vision. Friday, January 6 sees the launch of the rebranded men's fashion week in London, namely London Fashion Week Men's. The bi-annual event, which welcomes established designers as well as new and emerging men's wear designers, has said farewell to its old title London Collections: Men as part of the British Fashion Council strategy to realign the fashion event with women's London Fashion Week and its consumer fashion event, London Fashion Weekend.

Following up a technology influenced runway show, Chanel’s spring-summer 2017 campaign embraces eclectic styles. Model Arizona Muse appears in the advertisements captured by creative director Karl Lagerfeld. The theme range from pop Lolita to cyber punk with Arizona sporting lingerie-inspired lace, the house’s signature tweed and silk jackets. Jewelry also takes the spotlight. Pearls, white gold and diamonds shine while the BOY Chanel handbag is featured in a perforated white leather version.

French ready-to-wear label Zadig & Voltaire has decided to improve its presence in the U.S. This upcoming New York Fashion Week, the contemporary fashion house will show for the first time in the city.

For Valentino’s spring-summer 2017 campaign, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli tapped a mix of supermodels and new faces. Photographer David Sims captured the advertisements backstage at the runway show and black and white studio portraits. Louis Vuitton’s spring-summer 2017 campaign celebrates the spirit of Paris. The advertisements, shot by Bruce Weber, were captured on and around Île Saint-Louis, one of two islands on the river Seine. UK fashion chain Topshop is the latest British retail company attempting to tap into China's market by opening its first standalone store in 2018.
The British high-street retailer has agreed a deal with Chinese partner and online fashion retailer Shangpin.com. The e-commerce business had already started to push Topshop into the Chinese mainland by selling the brand on Shangpin.com two years ago.
